Genesis Ray Energy, an independent research & analytics company offering innovative solutions to simplify complex decisions in renewables and clean energy sectors, announced the appointment of R. Ian Angell as Chairman of its Board of Directors.

Ian joins Sarah Fairhurst, a seasoned expert on electricity markets, and Manish Dahiya, Managing Director of Cue1 Pte. Ltd., both Board members of Genesis Ray since the March and August 2020, respectively. Sarah has been an Independent Director with various energy-related companies in Asia and a former Partner at The Lantau Group. She has a strong experience in the electricity and gas sectors, having led numerous consulting projects across the region. Sarah has a strong knowledge of the energy policy, strategy, regulation and commercial/market issues and extensive experience of power investment transactions, including both sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions. Manish is an experienced energy professional with significant experience across the energy sector. Until recently, Manish was the Global Head of Energy, Coal & LNG, Nobel Group, prior to which he was with BHP Billiton.
The appointment of Ian has strengthened Genesis Ray’s Board with deep industry knowledge and expertise in multiple areas critical to success and reflects its commitment towards building an organization known for providing best information and analytics for the energy industry in a transparent manner.
